We can't speak highly enough about After The Tone. We were completely blown away listening to the audio recording and being immediately taken back to our loved ones' voices on our wedding day. To hear our friends and family's voices on this special day was so much more meaningful than we ever could have imagined. We will have the audio recording forever. We were somewhat ambivalent on whether to move forward with After The Tone beforehand -- we weren't sure how many people would actually leave messages. We just got married and were a little delayed in returning the phone, but even so, the turnaround for our audio files was incredibly fast - about a week. Everyone says your wedding day flies by, and we found that to be true. Receiving the messages gave us such a meaningful chance to relive the night. I especially cherish the sweet notes from our guests - and even the bloopers (our last caller didn’t hang up, so the final six minutes are just laughter, chatter, and dance floor sounds - the perfect ending). One tip: Some guests never got the chance to use it; many said they’d record later, but by then the phone was already packed away. One guest admitted he felt nervous and didn’t know what to say. In hindsight, I wish we had asked our DJ to make an announcement about 30 minutes before it was taken away, encouraging guests to leave even a simple “Hi, this is ___” so they didn’t feel pressured to say something profound.
