After the Tone was SUCH a fun addition to our wedding and we'll definitely be using them in the future for other life events, it's just so wonderful to be able to hear the voices you love years into the future. And, they're recorded on these vintage phones!! The phone was such a huge hit at our wedding and everyone had fun leaving us voicemails. After the Tone makes it so easy - they mail you the phone with the packaging that you'll ship the phone back in, return label and all, along with instructions on how to turn on/off the phone. It's one button and easy to use. You/your guests pick up the phone, leave a voicemail, put the phone back on the receiver and it's done. You mail the phone back within 72hrs from your event, their team edits the audio (cut out any blanks or noise in case someone didn't put the phone onto the receiver right, etc.), you check the audio yourself and after you give them your approval they'll process them and mail the audio files to you on either a USB drive or a custom vinyl, whichever you decide to purchase. There were definitely a few hiccups (on our end, so just keep in mind if you plan on having a friend/family/wedding coordinator take care of the phone for you). We think the person from our wedding might've accidentally turned off the phone when they transferred it from our cocktail hour to our reception area (it's a button beneath the phone), so there were a good chunk of hours missing from our audio from our wedding 🥺 Again that was our mistake though - the team at After the Tone were FANTASTIC and so empathetic. They actually set up a virtual call center for us for free after this came up, so our guests were still able to call and leave additional voicemails for us to add to our USB and vinyl 🥰 The team I think is relatively small, so while they're usually super fantastic in following up in a very quick timeframe, sometimes it can take them a second to get back to you as they have so many different projects going on. They're all very kind and helpful though so just remember they're doing the best they can, don't be mean ;) but also don't be shy if you need to send a follow up email or have any questions - they're truly fantastic and will be happy to respond and give you amazing customer service. Thank you again After the Tone, can't wait to work with you guys again in the future (maybe baby shower, vow renewal, just for fun? Who knows!)

Great experience, phone was adorable exactly as pictured and a hit at the wedding— very easy to use and turn on. I surprised my sister with this as a gift and had no issues bringing it in my carry on luggage to the destination wedding. Voicemails were available very quickly and so fun to listen to!

Update: The final edits were perfect, just what we wanted! Thanks again for making this incredible keepsake to listen to every year :) They did an incredible job cleaning up our voicemails. Everyone sounded crystal clear! They were great answering my questions throughout the wedding process and even addressed our concerns regarding our destination wedding. This is typically used for weddings but we used this for my daughter's Quincenera and it was a hit!. Guests loved the idea and we were happy to hear friends and family voices share memories and loving messages for her. Setting up was easy. Email stated they would reach out 30days before event for details and confirmation but it was 2 weeks away and I hadn't heard from them but I reached out and the phone was sent right away. I would still definitely recommend.

After the tone was such a good idea for our wedding! Listening to the voicemails were so fun and being able to listen to what they had to say meant a lot to us!
