The best decision we made when it came to our wedding was renting a phone from After the Tone to use as our guestbook! The shipping and return of the phone was easy. The set up was easy. We received the end product so fast. It means everything to us- to hear all our loved ones voices wishing us well and giving us advice, and describing the night through their eyes. We laughed and cried when listening to it. I can only imagine how much more special it will be in 10, 20, 30 years down the road. Highly recommend doing this. Out of any detail you think is important at a wedding- this is it. Spend the money to do this because it is way more special than some photos or signatures in a guestbook.

We used the virtual After The Tone service to record voicemails at our baby shower, and to have friends and family who could not attend that day wish our baby a Happy 18th Birthday. It was really special getting to preview the messages and to have the voices saved. It's inevitable that some people won't be present in this life when she turns 18, but we will always have their voice and love for her to hear!

sooo happy with after the tone! it was such a fun touch to the wedding, and very easy to use as long as you keep an eye on the battery. i fully charged it prior to the event, but noticed the light turn orange during the last half hour or so of our wedding so gave a final reminder and then turned it off, to ensure it didn’t die. we got our voicemails super fast and they were so fun to listen to! very high sound quality and such a special memory!

Super easy to order, setup, use, and send back. We ordered our phone about 1 month before our event. The audio we received back did a good job of eliminating background noise. Our guests all thought it was a fun activity, and left some fun/sweet voicemails for us to listen to after the event. Note you won't be able to record a custom greeting, so there's just a default voicemail greeting people hear before the beep/before they leave their message. They have templates for instruction signs but we just designed our own to match our sign theming across the event.
