After The Tone Named a Loverly Best Wedding Innovator for the Second Year in a Row

Some news deserves a voicemail of its own: After The Tone has been named one of Loverly’s Best Wedding Innovators for 2026–27.

This marks our second consecutive year on the Loverly List, and we could not be more excited. The 2026 list was selected from more than 16,500 nominees and recognizes 1,250 wedding professionals across 13 categories. To be included among the people and companies finding new ways to make weddings feel more personal means a lot to our little world of ringing phones, happy tears and very memorable voicemails.

Two years of making wedding memories sound different

After The Tone was also named to Loverly’s wedding innovators list for 2025–26. Being recognized again feels especially meaningful because innovation, to us, has never meant adding technology just for the sake of it.

It means helping people hold onto something that would otherwise disappear: the sound of a best friend laughing, a grandparent telling a familiar story, or a slightly overconfident speech recorded after a few trips to the dance floor.

We created After The Tone after making an audio guest book for our own wedding in 2019. The idea was simple. A written guest book can preserve names and notes, but a voice brings the whole person back. Their timing. Their laugh. The way they say your name. That feeling has guided everything we have built since.

What innovation means at After The Tone

Our audio guest books begin with authentic vintage phones from the 1960s and 1970s, restored and kept in circulation through our rental model. But the phone is only the beginning.

An award like this may have our name on it, but it reflects thousands of celebrations and all the people who trusted us with their voices. It belongs to the couples who made room for something a little different, the guests who picked up the phone and the team members who restore, ship, support, edit and deliver every experience with care.
