I’m so glad the ad for After the Tone came up on my instagram! We used it as an audio guestbook for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with the results! I had a very unique experience with After the Tone. I was beyond excited about the phone and the idea behind it where our guests could leave messages for us. It was one of the little personal touches that was going to be so special. I had really looked forward to having it at our wedding. However, the universe had other plans for us. The night before our wedding on the way to our rehearsal I was in a bad car accident that thankfully by God’s grace I walked away from safely. But crazy enough as a result of the collision my Jeep caught on fire and guess what was in the back!?…. all the stuff for the wedding, including my after the tone phone, the beautiful blue one. I called the company that night and explained the situation and they quickly set up the virtual after the tone for us. We were so incredibly thankful for this option. However, even though it was an awesome back up plan, it didn’t turn out quite as planned. I feel like the actual phone is one of those special items that in the moment at the event, your guests are more likely to use. Despite everyone’s best efforts, we only ended up having 2 of our 125 guests call into the virtual message center to leave a note for us. All in all, I would give After the Tone 5 stars for their amazing customer service, their precious idea, and their quick attention before, during and after our event. I highly recommend using them as a fun, extra personal touch at your wedding or special event.

It was a wonderful way to hear comments of love and support, as well as share memories, even for those who couldn't make it - they could call in after the fact. It is such a special gift to hear the voices of our loved ones and to have it reiterated of what an incredibly special person he was and how much he impacted so many in his time with us.

I ordered a bright orange phone for my son and his bride, and they loved it! They ended up with a solid 25 minutes of voicemails from family and friends. The audio quality is great. I was worried that there would be too much noise from the music at the reception, but it's not bad at all. Placing the order was easy, delivery of the phone was prompt, instructions for use were clear and easy to follow, easily returned the phone with the provided return-shipping label, and received the email with the downloadable audio file within 2 weeks. I give After the Tone an A. :)

This was a super cool addition to our reception! It was pretty expensive for the small amount of voicemails we got, but I think that was our own fault. Our sign advertising the phone guestbook didn’t make it to the reception, and the band/coordinator forgot to make an announcement about it so not a lot of people noticed it or they just thought the phone was decor. Otherwise, the phone was indeed awesome decor too and we got a few great voicemails from family and friends. Great investment, just make sure you draw attention to it!
