I absolutely loved loved loved this phone, first of all it was so cute and unique. All my guests loved it also, they thought it was such a fun idea. And now well we get to keep the voicemails of our loved ones forever. My husband and I both said it was the best thing we had at our wedding and it's worth so much more than it cost us. Very easy to use and understand, anyone could set it up, they made it so easy to use, pretty much fool proof. I truly couldn't think of anything that would have made this experience better. I will recommend this to everyone I know in the future or buy it for them as their wedding gift?!? Because everyone should have this at their wedding. 12/10 would recommend absolutely amazing. Adding this detail to our wedding was definitely worth it. I can’t wait to share the recordings with our future children. It was a hit, all of our guests used it and left us beautiful loving messages. We loved that the recording was also able to pick up on the background live music we had playing, my father in law can be heard singing in the background in some of the recordings, the messages were still very clear though. This was a perfect way to capture a moment in time of our wedding, you will be able to play the recording weather it’s the link or if you purchased the additional vinyl record ( we did ) just go back, play it close your eyes as you’re listening to your messages and it’ll take you back to relive your big day, the background music that was also captured in the background made a huge difference for us in that it felt it was live, it just felt so real again. Anyways let me go into a bit more detail as far as the actual phone itself.. We received the phone about 4 days before the wedding, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, the battery lifespan was plenty and they did explain how to charge it for any additional charge that might be needed just incase, it lasted a full 8 hrs straight for us as long as it was fully charged before starting to use it. We did think it would come with a sign to use in the display where you plan to set up the phone on your wedding day because that’s what we saw on the advertisement when I first learned about this service, however it did not come with any, no big deal for us, we just made one our own, just an fyi though so you know what to expect. They do give you up to 72 hrs after the date of your event to mail the phone back ( they do provide the postage for it, you will use the same box they mail it in to mail back to them ) however ours happened to land on a holiday, they did give us extra time for delivery considering this though. We were eager to get our recordings back but it did take a little while. First they sent us over a link after a few weeks containing our recordings, they do provide a complimentary one time edit, so we listened to our recordings and requested a few bloopers that were recorded on accident ( mainly people saying is it recording already but no message lol ) to be removed and one recording added… we finally received our final product yesterday. It took about 2 months for us to receive our final product from the date of our wedding but the wait was all worth it… it’s a priceless memory you will cherish… we definitely recommend this to anyone for their wedding, you won’t regret it!

I was the most excited about this for our wedding because it was so different and so on trend. No one I know used it before. The booking and communication was great and if I had any questions, they were very responsive via email. The phone came 1.5 weeks before our wedding. We dropped it off at our venue with all of our things with the instructions on how to set up the phone. I wish I just had someone I knew set it up because it wasn’t set up properly and didn’t record the first 2.5 hours of the reception so we missed so many messages. I happened to walk by the table it was on and a guest asked if they were doing it right and I saw it wasn’t working. I was so upset when we got our recordings back because it was only 10 minutes. I did reach out to After the Tone to see if there was anything we can do after the fact. They were able to set up a virtual call center where people could call in on a phone number and leave a message after. This was live for 1 week. Not many people did it because it just wasn’t the same. We ended up with 20 minutes of messages. And the package I had included a vinyl that had a photo in the middle of it - they didn’t even upload the correct photo I gave them. Overall, it’s a really cool concept and people loved it - I just wish it went more smoothly. Make sure whoever is setting it up follows the really easy instructions they send with the phone. Thank you for doing the best you could to make sure we had as many messages as we could get. Customer service is wonderful! EDIT AS OF 7/25/23 - I just want to say that the team at after the tone went above and beyond to make everything right for me. I reached out and told them the wrong image was on my vinyl, and they went and added the correct image and sent me a new vinyl overnight and i received it in 2 days. I also don't want anyone to think this was the fault of after the tone - i just wanted others to make sure they have someone that they trust set up their phone. the instructions that they sent with the phone were so easy and great, yet my venue still messed it up. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family. Thank you again for making it right and addressing my issues. I look forward to using you again in the future!

We LOVED After The Tone!!! An Instagram got me after about 20+ times of seeing their ads. The ordering process was easy, and the phone came with everything needed to ensure success! The instructions were simple and really “fool-proofed”. We got out voicemails back today and we’re so happy we went with After The Tone for our audio guestbook. It truly took us back to our day! Pro tip: carry your phone around the big day for a few minutes and get as many messages as you can. We did that and it was so fun!!
